Likes are the clearest signal that viewers enjoyed your video, and one of the main factors TikTok's algorithm uses to decide whether to show it to more people. This guide explains how to increase TikTok likes with 20Follow, the different like types, and how to use them to help your videos reach the For You page.
Why TikTok likes matter
- Algorithm signal: videos that collect likes quickly after posting are shown to a wider audience.
- Social proof: viewers engage more with videos that already show strong engagement.
- Balanced profile: lots of followers with no likes looks unnatural.
- Campaigns: stores and brands need visible engagement on product videos.
